Ok I am hooked! I have bought loads of stuff from Boots and keep getting home and thinking "I should have bought that" so just have to go back:D I think I have finished now as there is not alot left in the Durham stores and nothing I want. I am also trying to use my £5 vouchers and free highlight coupon. Unfortunately I don't use make up so don't want to use them just for the sake of it unless I get something for free! I will keep looking ......

  • The SA today wouldn't let me use the highlighting powder voucher when I bought a 50p tanning wipe. I said it doesn't say anything about not being able to use it with sale items on the voucher. She said 'well it won't go through the till'. Grrrrr....Should have made her try like I've just read in a previous post. Why does the SA care? it's not coming out of her pocket!
  • Well I now have enough of the Time Delay wipes (thanks to the free £5 facial voucher :) ) to last until the end of summer thanks to some canny spending!!!! And still have 2 more vouchers to use....

Not a fantastic subject, but thought this may be useful to parents out there. I bought a Nitty Gritty (you guessed it! NitFree Combe) that I have heard parents rave about from Boots £9.99.

Been wanting to get one for ages but never had the 'need' recently. Saw it in the Boots mag bought one today and also got the £5.00 skincare voucher! So effectively £4.99 :) Had to spend about £24.00 last year on 2 bottles of headlice shampoo to treat us all with just because dd1 had them! Wouldn't want to use the shampoos regularly anyway.

Pharmasist got really excited telling me how good it was and how everyone she knows with kids has one. Apparently its so good because it has micro spirals on the metal teeth which get the eggs out. Packaging claims to remove ALL head lice, nits and eggs 100% effective with a lifetime guarantee. And it's also Chemical free!

Sorry, not the most glam of subjects. But too good an offer to miss with the voucher!
if you live in scotland you can get these free on the minor ailments scheme
  • right then .. here goes...

Yay, somehow just managed to get a Fifi Flip Out Sofa for £7.49 for my little girl's room. Will come in handy for storytime and when her little cousin stays over. Don't know how come it came back in stock because it definitely wasn't there 2 hours ago.

Just to add to the list of freebie with facial voucher...
sanctuary pro-collagen boosting mask in sachet 2.50 each, so you can get 2 for free
sanctuary warming mask 1.79 so 2 for free or 3 and you need to pay 40p

plus sanctuary toner or washer are 5.95 so 95p after voucher...

To Prestorian, Fishergate store has a redesign, they moved everything around and the till at ground floor are going to be in different place... there is still some room left so maybe we get some new brand/stands...

  • jolly jolly yes for some people you can get 3 items for the price of 1

    for example...

    2 x no7 wipes at £6.50 each
    1 x highlighter

    Total would be £6.50

I don't think this 3 for 2 and free highlighter will work with sale items, but i might be wrong!

jolly jolly - I've already done it three times, the first time by accident, as I wanted two other items anyway. The next two times I did it deliberately. I think you need to make sure that at least one item is cheaper than the highlighter, so that the till takes that off first on 3 for 2, then the £10.25 with the voucher. I'm very happy to get £30 worth for £10ish!
