I lost my boots card

rang up CS who said it hadnt been used & they would post me another one out ( this was on the 14th Dec). Anyone any idea how long they take? I was hoping to use some of my points to treat myself in the sale.
  • Just got back from Boots in Margate (got to do it all today as back to work tomorrow) - took the receipt from this morning and the 300 pts voucher and SA added pts to card no problem!
Also they had loads of the new mags on a stand by the entrance, picked one up and a pack of Time Delay wipes and used the £5 skin care voucher.
SA would only let me have one magazine, curses!

I misplaced mine a few years ago, and applied for a new one. I was told it would take 3 weeks, it took about 12 days finally.

Hopefully they have improved things and you will get it back in time to enjoy the bargains. :j

Just been to Boots in Keighley, Bradford, got £5 top up, recieved the £5 skincare voucher.
I used that and the expert coupons out of the change one thing booklets, these work in conjunction with the discounts on them already(half price) so took an extra pound off each item with coupons, also used the half price baby expert voucher, this worked in conjunction with the buy one get one half price offer that is on at the minute, also a bottle of water and used voucher, came to £21.83 before the vouchers were redemmed, came to £4.70 after the cashier put them all through so grabbed some mints and it came to £5.11 (40 points, all in), so another voucher for me:)
Only downside is that they aren't stocking the no7 highlighter as of yet:(

Thanks for this. Which item/s was your £5 skincare voucher used against? was it expert range?

    Need help please!!
I used to alway get the Boot mailings with the double points coupon in but it now seems that since I had my card replaced as the old one stopped working properly, I have not got any.
I still get the parenting mailings and have looked at my account to see if I am signed up to recieve all mailing but I cant see any boxes to tick. Where would I find out if I am signed up?

    hi folks,

Has anyone tried the free illumimnator voucher in conjunction with the £5 voucher off the no7 wipes? I read somewhere that the voucher WORKS with No7 skincare even tho its not listed?

Spacebabe, can u confirm that illuminator powder scanned fine through till with reduced no7 item??

    Thanks folks.

BTW the 200pts acm voucher for Photo frames that states "when you buy ANY photo frame" does NOT work with ANY photo frame!! Tried to use it against 99p magnetic photo frame and it didn't scan! SA downright refused to manually add points either! Humph.

    Crap bootsing day for me!!

have got the 15th booked off work now, very excited!

Last year I bought a years worth of birthday presents, at a fraction of the cost. Unfortunatley, I seem to have spent the money I saved on filling up my BHC (Boots Hoarding Cupboard)!!!

Still, when there's a bargain to be had....it would be rude not to! And, despite what my OH might think....you can never have too many toiletries/fragrance/make up.

After reading this thread i decided to sort out my advantage card problem. Mine was damaged and i was given a temporary one to use till i got a new card through.......i never did anything about it.
Phoned up this morning and i have 655points on one and 612 on the other so i'm now waiting for my new card with all the points together and get ready for some bargains!!:T
So many thanks all you Bootsies? (is that right) This thread sounds really exciting. Looking forward to reading more and grabbing those bargains

Also hope to be able to contribute to this thread in the near future. Although some of the terms you use are slightly alien to me ie ACM or something  A little to learn first i think. :rotfl:

Good luck with accumulating more points! The ones you have sound like a good start. I think Crazyposhgal has a list of abbreviations and what they are short for in the first post. It doesn't take long to think in Bootsspeak though!
