I agree with Gecon, I went in at 9.02am and several ladies from the deptments had 2 tier trolleys full, inc all No7 ladies - no one on desk so grabbed a couple more powders :D

when i got to the till the ladies there were fuming as they weren't told about the sale starting and weren't allowed to leave the tills either to have a look just wish i had more arms to carry it all, there were more things i wanted but with a pushchair and 5 large bags full it was a struggle but worth it.

Thanks for the mention to someone that posted about the winter hampers with the hot choc in, i managed to get 2, gave one away today - thought my friend was going to cry she loves things like this, although i think she liked the little whisk best she just kept playing with it :rotfl:

my husband just stared when i walked in with it all, but after all the fab finds and glitches here, he knows i never spend much in boots!

Also had no problems in returning an unwanted item that was 29.99 :)
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

Just a quick not but I have bought the Olay Thermal Polisher and used the 300 points voucher and £5 voucher in both the Bolton and Manchester main stores without an issue. They scanned no problems, no nasty beeps or anything!

I'm soprry if this has been posted but I received a parenting club magazine and vouchers today. One is 500 points for any Olay Total Effects product, they have a handcream at £4.97, and also any item from panetene smooth and sleek range and get 200 points, 200ml shampoo and/or conditioners are £1.79! both quids in! I'm going to use them tomorrow.

    Thanks for all the tips!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
When do they restock the gifts normally? Is it in the morning before shop opens? or throughout the day? Any clues?
I went today 10 min before closing and the shelves were pretty empty, except for the ted baker stuff. It is really overpriced in my opinion... and even with the 75% off it seems expensive for 2 toiletries + a watch or a notebook... at least the ones I could see.
    TIA.

Not really expensive if the men in your family love Ted Baker anyway....eg the In Tune gift set contains the Bodyspray and Hair Gel which when purchased individually are £3.99 and £4.99 respectively......so by getting gift set (with freebie speaker for mp3 player) for £3.75 you are saving £5.23 because £3.99+£4.99=£8.98 less cost of gift set £3.75
  • can anyone tell me if wakefield or huddersfield have anything good left its my day off tomorow and the range in leeds was quite limited. Anyone know if the big leeds branch have restocked yat??
  • Anybody know if any of the Belfast stores have restocked yet? Wasnt much left yesterday. Just loads of the ipod/smellie sets!

    TIA
    oooooooh i luv a bargain :)
  • Got my .com delivery today, got everything except the face masks but account saying i'm still going to get 500 points. Really happy with the rest but looked at the description on the Razor Buggy but it's for children under 55 pounds. My daughter is too heavy for it so i'm going to send it back. Seems such a shame cos it looks like fun but for me the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Store sales managed to get a few goodies but not as much as i would have liked. Thanks for all the info, would never have known.

Was in East Kilbride Boots near glasgow this morning around 0950 and i'm sure one of you were there, quite a few times at the till and quite a few time delay wipes !

problem is her advantage card details probably weren't entered on her online account as she only requested a card recently - I assume she would know if she had registered a card against her online account. If this is the case then they won't be waiting to be added on the machine. She can check by logging into the online account and viewing her account and clicking on show my points....if they are going to be added they should show....if not try phoning customer services and asking for them to be added manually.

Thanks very much for answering me.

I will add a thank you when i work out how :o
