What is a tilsplit please? taff

You have to spend a certain amount (in this case £5) and instead of the SA giving you one of the vouchers the till prints off a voucher for you to use.

Did the 500points parenting coupon scan or did SA have to put it through manually? just wondering 'cos the AC voucher for 300points didn't scan for me last week when I bought an olay product. SA said it was 'cos I was using a 5.00 skincare voucher in the same transaction:confused:

no they all scanned through fine apart from the 2nd free water one which she did manually, but i think tht was due to it being 2 in one go.

  • Oh great! My HDN deliveries normally arrive before 12.... just had dispatch email for my 75% delivery.... I'll be at Boots :o

I'll leave a note on the door to leave in our outside cupboard but we're in a block of 4 flats so I'll have to hope no-one dislodges the wedge I'll put in the door to allow HDN access.

Heres an idea!! wonder if it would have worked haha! buy what you want say a week or two into the sale and then return it with your receipt when the 75% sale is on and before the SA puts them back on the shelf say ................... emmm i want to buy them all back now!!!

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What about going to Boots with someone, then pretending that you don't know each other. After you return your item, another person tells the SA that s/he wants to buy it. This way you can get things you want for cheaper price and not embrass yourself in front of the SA.

It's a bit tricky idea. Though doing like this is high possibility to be done successfully. However, according to my ethical dilemma, I can't do it myself.

Most Boots open at 9 am on Tuesday.

I think my info is right. Just want to inform you about this, in order to save your time waiting in front of the store.

Hi just for folks that were asking:D I used the 500points (Parenting voucher) on Olay total effects along with my £5 till spit and it went through with no beeps etc;) I bought the cream face wash £5.99 and used £5 voucher and 500pts so Mr.B paid me £4.01 to take it away!!:D
I also tried to use my £5 till spit on Olay total effects hand cream £4.99 (i think:o)the till beeped and the assistant pointed out(smugly might i add)it says on it clearly £5 off Facial skincare!(so that was me told NOT)
I also seen someone asking further back about the 2000 points on the Oral-B toothbrush! The quote in the 1st post saying "it goes through no probs" means that the voucher dosn't have to be added manually by the sales assistant/manager, to get the 2000pts you do need to have the voucher from the parenting club mailings!Sorry;)(Would of been good if you didn't though eh?)
Hi anyone from Aberdeen still on? I was wondering if the sale stuff in Bon-Accord is still scattered up and downstairs or is it all upstairs now(like they usually do later in the sale)I'm trying to plan where to go 1st;) it all being upstairs or all downstairs would be alot easier;)
I should be in bed but i'm so excited i can barely sleep:o anyone else in the same boat?:D
    Thought for today:-
There comes a time in your life when you realise who matters, who used to matter and those that never did;)
:T Now facing my debts instead of hiding from them!:T

Thanks to everyone on here than has helped me through my darkest days!:D
