Debt Recovery Firm Chasing, But No Prior Correspondence?

Good Afternoon,
I've recently received a voicemail and two text messages from Trace Debt Recovery UK. The voicemail was received on the 5th September and was an automated voice stating 'this is a call from the Trace Group about some existing business you have with us. Please call us back on 01604 300540 or visit us at thetracegroup.co.uk to avoid any further action'. The follow up text messages were along the same lines, with the latest one making reference to it being a 'FINAL DEMAND'.
The issue is that I've never received any other correspondence about any outstanding debt and so I've no idea what this relates to. I rarely enter in to credit agreements with vendors, and whilst I do have loans and a credit card with Barclays, I've never missed a payment. I did receive a fine with a private parking company about 6 years ago, but I successfully appealed that. I last moved over 5 years ago and changed cars about 3 years ago, and throughout I've kept the V5C documents up to date.
For a number of years I received phone calls for someone who was not me and so I initially dismissed this as being another instance related to this, but I'm growing increasingly concerned that there is in fact some debt I owe and I don't want to be taken to court without knowing about it.
Is there any way I can find out any more about what the supposed debt is? Is it wise to contact the debt recovery firm directly?
Thank you.

Never ever contact these people, you can safely ignore texts and voice mails, in fact block all numbers they use.
You only need to look at anything you get by snail mail, if you do get anything then come back.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
Only correspondence received by letter is important, all else can be ignored.
If someone wants you to pay a debt, they must first write to you.
There website suggests they chase private parking charges, ring any bells?
