    Pets At Home Online Competition on the Heart Network (including Scotland), September 2025 – Specific Rules  
     
    1.    The Pets at Home Online Competition (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Monday 8th September to Tuesday 30th September 2025 on the Heart Network (Including Scotland). Global is the Promoter and host. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Pets at Home and the ‘Prize Provider’ is The NDL Group. 

    2.    IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here  (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions. 

    Details of the Promotion:  

    3.    To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page at https://www.heart.co.uk/win/ , or via the Global Player app by clicking on the Win with Heart tile, register your details and submit a worded nomination, within 300 characters, tell us the greatest length you have gone to for your pet. For example: ‘Leo the cat was awfully sick and became incredibly picky when it came to mealtimes. I knew he loved stealing my chicken so I bought him a whole roast to himself. Chicken, veggies the works. He ate every bite and from the purring it think he appreciated it.’ 
      
    4.    Please do not include any personal information (such as surnames, contact details, or addresses) about any third party mentioned in your entry. 

    5.    Entries will be judged on the following criteria: 

    a) Must be feel-good and upbeat 
    b) Must be a story about your own pet. 
    c) Must be funny, entertaining or uplifting. 
     d) Must not contain any inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content. 

    6.    Entries deemed by us to be rude, offensive, defamatory, illegal or condoning dangerous behaviour will be removed from the Promotion. 

    7.    By submitting your entry, you agree that it may be randomly selected as part of a weekly radio segment showcasing the most entertaining listener submissions. You will not be notified in advance, and no compensation will be provided if your entry is featured. Selection of your entry for on-air broadcast does not guarantee that you will receive the prize outlined below. 

    8.    Online entry will open at 17:00 on Monday 8th September and close at 23:59 Tuesday 30th September. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion. 

    9.    Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries are prohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prize from you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methods or, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IP address, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, at our sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent. 

    10.    If we know or suspect you are trying to enter or have entered this Promotion by using more than one phone number or if we know or suspect you are using variations of your name, we reserve the right to disqualify any relevant entry(ies) and exclude you from this Promotion and also permanently exclude you from entering any of our Promotions.  

    11.    Within 28 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw and one entry will be selected at random. The selected entry must be eligible and not have been made in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. If the entry belongs to you, one of our representatives will call you on the telephone number on which you entered the Promotion. Please note, we will not be able to call you back on another number and we reserve the right to ask you to confirm your telephone number when we call you back.     14.    In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture. 

    15.    This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Apple.  
     
    Eligibility: 
     
    16.    The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) at the time of entry. 

    17.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.  

    18.    Only one name and telephone number may be used by you in relation to this Promotion. The use of multiple names, telephone numbers and/or devices is a breach of our Promotion Terms and Conditions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and you will forfeit your prize should we know or have reason to believe that you attempted to use or did use more than one name, phone number and/or device to enter this Promotion. It is also prohibited for anyone else to enter the Promotion using the same phone number including household members or friends.  

    19.    Before transferring any winnings to you we reserve the right to request Photo ID (such as your passport or driving licence) and confirmation that the telephone number you entered on belongs to you and proof of your home address (such as a phone bill with your name, address and telephone number on). You agree and understand that should you win a cash prize you may be required to provide these to verify your eligibility. If you fail to provide the requested information and we are unable to verify your eligibility, we reserve the right to withhold any prize from you. 
     
    20.    Prize: One winning entrant will receive the following: 

    •  £100.00 travel allowance for travel to Ashford  
    •  Overnight accommodation at a 4-star hotel in Ashford for 2 people  
    • Breakfast for 2 adults in the hotel restaurant each morning  
    •  Ranger for the Day experience at The Big Cat Sanctuary Kent for 2 people.  
    • £100.00 to spend at Pets at Home 

     
    21.    Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Travel and excludes the Christmas holiday period, Valentine’s day/weekend, Easter weekend and all other bank holiday weekends in the UK.  

    22.    Travel allowance will be provided in the form spending money. Spending money will be transferred directly to the winner upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days.  

    23. Pets At Home spend must be made via an NDL representative. Money must be spent in one transaction. Voucher will be valid for 12 months, is non-transferable with no cash alternative available. Winner will be required to send links to NDL group, for a maximum of 10 items, including required size and colour which are strictly subject to availability at the time of ordering, for NDL Group to complete the order on the winner’s behalf. 

    24.    You will be staying in a 4* hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis.  

    25.    Your Ranger for the Day experience is based on 2 people and lasts approximately 6-hours. Experience starts and ends at 9.30am – 3.30pm and is available on selected days throughout the year. Experience includes preparing food, set up enrichment and helping clean cat enclosures, lunch at sanctuary café, tour of sanctuary and handfeed of a big cat. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. Subject to availability at time of booking.  

    26.    All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

    29.    You understand that should you win a prize package that is made up of various elements you are required to redeem all aspects of the prize in order to keep the prize. If you are unable to accept the prize awarded in full, we reserve the right to withdraw the entire prize package and select another entrant to play or win as applicable.  

    30.    Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, dinner at the hotel is not included within the prize. 

    31.    The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. 

    32.    We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
