It’s in the first post, that the OP has been training up new people.
    Not quite.

"they were allowing me to train up fresh faces for them to be prioritised full-time shifts over me and as a result cutting my shifts in half to part-time."

It looks like you read that as them taking on new people. I read it as them training up people already there (possibly younger people, on lower wages, so they could then replace the OP).
They were in fact recruiting new people to ‘replace’ me/ to be prioritised shifts. Anyway I’ve decided to resign as it was not worth the hassle when i wasn’t planning on staying there for long. I would probably only be there max another year as it’s not a job or company you can progress in and could not be a long term thing anyway giving the volatility of shifts patterns. The only benefit of it is the tips, the tips are much greater here compared to other places making it worth it financially. But my peace of mind knowing I have contracted hours with a company so they can’t just cut my hours suddenly is more important than the money. I believe everything happens for a reason and it was just my time to get out and find something more stable and a job im actually valued in. Thank you all for taking the time to help advise me.
