The prize is a voucher that can be spent on a holiday up to the value of £3,000, with flights from Manchester Airport and/or accommodation in a destination of the winner’s choice.

By entering this Promotion, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Any violation of the Official Rules may, at Sponsor’s discretion, result in disqualification. All decisions of the judges regarding this Promotion are final and binding in all respects.

1. GENERAL. These terms and conditions (which we will refer to as the “Specific Terms”) will govern the featuring Manchester Airport X Condé Nast Traveller Competition (the “Promotion” or “Competition”). These Specific Terms and the General Terms (available here: General Terms and Conditions - The Condé Nast Publications Ltd) shall govern the Promotion and in the event of any contradiction between the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. Capitalised words and expressions used but not defined herein these Specific Terms shall have the meaning given to them in the General Terms.
2. SPONSOR. The Condé Nast Publications Limited (“Condé Nast”) is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 00226900 and with registered office at 1-11 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6HT. Condé Nast is responsible for the operation of the Giveaway (the “Sponsor” or “Promoter”).
3. PROMOTION PERIOD. Promotion begins 12:00 PM GMT on 5 September 2025 and closes at 11.59 PM GMT on 17 October 2025 at 11:59 PM GMT, by which all entries must be received (“Promotion Period”).
4. ELIGIBILITY. This Promotion is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are at least 18 years old.
5. HOW TO ENTER. Visit https://www.cntraveller.com/article/manchester-airport-competition during the Promotion Period and complete the entry form by answering correctly the question: “Manchester-owned restaurant Archie’s, found within Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2, takes inspiration from which 1988 movie?”. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or for a chance to win this Promotion. A purchase will not improve chances of winning. Internet access is required. Limit: no more than one entry per person and one entry per e-mail address during the Promotion Period.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. All qualifying entrants will be placed in a free prize draw. Selection of the winner will be conducted within twenty-eight (28) days from the Closing Date by random drawing from all eligible entries (the “Drawing Date”). Any potential winner will be notified by email and/or telephone. If a potential winner: (i) cannot be contacted; (ii) does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours from the date the Sponsor first tries to notify him/her; (iii) refuses the prize; and/or (iv) the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such potential winner forfeits all rights to win the Promotion or receive the prize, and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Upon contacting a potential winner and determining that they have met all eligibility requirements of the Promotion, such individual will be declared a “winner” of the Promotion. 

7. PRIZE DESCRIPTION. There will be one (1) winner. The winner will receive one (1) prize,  which will consist of:

• One (1) voucher worth £3,000 to be used on flights departing from and arriving back to Manchester Airport, and accommodation in the chosen destination. (“Voucher”)
• The Voucher must be redeemed before 1 August 2027 and return travel must be completed before 15 August 2027.

8. PRIZE REDEMPTION CONDITIONS. Redemption is subject to availability and applies only to the dates outlined in the prize description, unless otherwise amended due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Manchester Airport. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, events outside Manchester Airport’s control, acts of God, extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies (including but not limited to COVID‑19), or other force majeure events. In the event of such circumstances, the prize winner will be notified as soon as practicable and offered alternative dates. The prize will be honoured on the rescheduled dates, unless rescheduling is not legally or practically possible, in which case Manchester Airport and/or Conde Nast reserves the right to substitute the prize or any component thereof with an alternative of equal value. Conde Nast and Manchester Airport accept no liability for travel costs, and any additional costs, services, or extras not expressly included in the prize description will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner and must be settled in full prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The £3,000 voucher must be redeemed before 1 August 2027 and return travel must be completed before 15 August 2027. Flights must be booked, and the departure and arrival airports must be Manchester Airport. Accommodation is included. For the avoidance of doubt, the total value of the voucher awarded (to cover accommodation and flights) shall not exceed £3000 - any costs in excess of this amount will be the Winner’s responsibility.  Other products are not included in the voucher requirement. The voucher code is case sensitive and can only be redeemed once. The voucher code is valid for one use only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher. The voucher is non-transferable, cannot be refunded and no change can be given. If the intended purchase is for a higher amount than the face value of the voucher, the difference can be made up with card payment. The lead passenger on the booking must be 18 years or over. Travellers and their companion(s) are solely responsible for ensuring they are travelling with a valid passport/visa where necessary. The winner and any nominated companions must travel together.
