Have you checked your credit history for any debts or CCJs?

I've seen CDER being used to chase money related to council tax, CCJs and motoring offences so that's what I'd look for first.

Their website gives these contact details for CDER Group
    9th Floor,
    Peninsular House,
    30-36 Monument Street,
    London, EC3R 8LJ.
    Contact - CDER Group

I would suggest  writing to them rather than ringing or emailing them just because it makes it a bit harder for them to chase you.  You don't want to be inundated with calls, texts or emails and it's better to have things in writing so you can sit and think through a plan of action.

Given that this is debt related (in some way) I'll see about moving this to the Debtfree Wannabe board for more input and advice.

Is this to do with a Court claim against you for a parking charge that you have a thread going on MSE ?

That claim was for nearly £300 so I can't see it getting that high now.

No, I don’t think it’s related to that, I’ve submitted the questionnaire for that and awaiting next steps for negotiation call.

Thanks, I’ll try contacting them and crawling through emails to check on this - and post in the other forum as well

Checking with everyone in the house as well - just shocked to see this as there was no other inkling of this happening and before I searched for the company thought it might be a scam of some sort as there was no case number or anything on the paper :/
