Lowells have changed the name on the debt account

I have a few debts with Lowells and i have payment plans with them in place which is being paid on a monthly basis.
Today my son came to me as he had opened 2 letters from lowells in his name as we share the name name but different spelling. I contacted Lowell and asked them to send all information they have for all accounts as i am concerned that they have just DPA breached my accounts.
I have received 1 email thus far from them and i have the originator document spelt in my correct name and spelling but they have also added a letter from themselves which totally states my sons name and spelling but on their letter theres no address.
Am i right in thinking they have data breached my account as my son has been kicking off with me thinking i had taken accounts out in his name which is untrue.
Any help and advice would be appreciated

What can I say, companies such as Lowell employ a lot of school leavers in their call centres, who receive only basic training, one reason why they operate at a competency level much lower than average.
