Hi there,
just wondering if anyone has had success with NatWest mortgage application with 1 missed shopping account payment in the last 6 months? It was only one missed payment and account has been active for last 3 years?
thanks

Why did you miss the payment? Do you have difficulty paying bills (little disposable income) or are you just poor when it comes to making payments on time?If you have a 50% LTV then NatWest won't care. They'll be quids in if they need to repossess.0

They'll be quids in if they need to repossess.Just over 3 years ago, I tried to remortgage with Barclays on 7 year fix at 2.24% taking 18m off the term. I’d been on a BR tracker for 17 years.LTV was 21% and they knocked me back. Remortgage was £46k and I had £33k on 0% credit cards. Zero risk. Perfect credit history.Gutted not to get the rate at the time. If I did I’ve have bought a new car last year and still have 3.5 years to go.Instead, I don’t have a new car or a mortgage. They didn’t even ask about savings that more than covered the credit cards. Just a straight knock back. Salary was more than enough, no dependents.I tried again a week or so later putting CC’s at £0 based on paying them all off immediately. Still no.Since then Barclays have only been good for 0% credit cards with free cashback and a CA bribe.I’ll always thank them for the KB’s0

If its 75% LTV and a saved deposit with good stable jobs it should be ok.
