LCS debt management HMRC
I like many received a text saying I need to contact them on behalf of HMRC thought it was a scam. Then I logged into my HMRC account, I registered for self assessment many years ago but due to full time employment, have not submitted a claim since 2015. All of sudden I have a penalty from 2021 for £178???? No explanation as to how when or where this came from. I paid it because you don't mess with HMRC, then I will still getting text messages.
I called LCS and they said Oh HMRC have linked the wrong person to your account???? You tell me how I can phone HRMC as I can't find ANY number anywhere to talk to anyone? Help
