Has anyone tried the free drink for £10 spend with more card?  Are there any restrictions i.e. Can you buy alcohol in deal?

Thanks

The offer does exclude takeaway hot drinks and the £10 minimum spend in store is calculated after any discounts have been applied.

Saw it the other day but didn't have time to hang around and try it. Probably never will

It gives you a free hot drink in the cafe.

At least in Waitrose you get to take it away

Take a flask and pour the drink into it.

I was not aware of the offer, however I did a voucher for free hot drink in the café when I paid at checkout. Bill was over a tenner, BTW.

The voucher is valid for one week, so unlikely I'll be using that.

I think it's hot drinks only and takeaway drinks are excluded. I would bet alcohol is probably excluded in the spend, it quite often is. Just ask

I think they were saying that a purchase of alcohol in the store might not be included in the eligibility for the free hot drink.

Went to local morrisons today asked on way in ... store was on list of participants. Manager not aware one of staff was.  Check out help person not aware.  Used more card (physical card)  no print for free drink. She asked on headphones - told scan card at till in cafe - several staff in cafe not aware.  One was aware but scan did not work - told to get drink and they would sort it later - no more contact - just had my 3 drinks and left.  All staff were very pleasant and agreed with me that they should be made aware.  Does not say much for the organisation if the manager not aware.
