House buying with leased solar panels - A shade Greener

Hi,
Currently in the process of buying a house. Been going on for about 6 months. The house has solar panels on lease from A Shade Greener. Long story short - we are waiting for a shade greener to receive the deed of variation the solicitors have made, and then will need ASG to register with land registry. Has anybody been through something similar? And if so, how long did it roughly take? I have emailed ASG but no reply and am unable to speak to someone their regarding the process.

As you can imagine, we are frustrated and fed up due to how long it has taken.
Appreciate the time taken to read this.

I wouldnt have a problem with buying a house that already has solar panels, a Shade Greener ones are not ideal. But will your mortgage company let you buy the house?

Yes we have a mortgage offer and they’re happy to lend providing the deed or variation meets their requirements. We both have excellent credit scores with no outstanding debt or finances. Was just wondering how long the process of the above taking as nobody is able to advise!Thank you0 -
One option that's commonly exercised is to ask the current owner of the property to buy out A Shade Greener's lease as part of the purchase. The panels and their FIT will then become yours and you won't have to have any dealings with ASG ever again.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile.
