Link debt.... this is getting weird

I got contacted by Link early this year chasing a debt.. Well, it seems the card which has defaulted belongs to someone with the same name as me but different demographic's. Sometime last year Link where provided with my telephone number, linked to this address. 

I've had spam calls previously linked to this address but somehow a data scavenging agency has connected my number with this address. 

Weidly the householder haas the exact same name!!

If you do family history or any research, that not the least bit uncommon.

Work once received a DBS check that pulled a history that was very worrying. Turned out two people had been born 200 miles apart on the same day and had been given the same forename, middle name and surname. Apart from one single letter variation in the spelling in the middle name. 

This poor soul was going to have to get every future employer to understand the difference. And it wouldn't be surprising if there were financial issues as well.

Meantime, you write to Link and make a formal complaint about them linking your phone number to the wrong account. Demand all details related to you are removed from their records and tell them that any further contact will result in a FOS complaint.

RAS already there with the complaint, it seems like my number has been attached to the address the other me lives at. I've had a few calls to my phone number and this address so I'm not surprised.
Link will sort it out I'm sure. They're not really the bad guys here..
