£20.39 spent over the last few days on stuff for packed lunches and cleaning bits. I'm pondering going down to the refill store to get some more lentils as I've only got red lentils left in stock at the moment and I like to add a couple of different types when I make a Dal. I might just check the cupboards first in case there's any others hiding at the back.

Could I please be put down for £700 for September. I'm starting to buy some bits to put away for later in the year so need a slightly increased budget.

Had a few spends since the beginning of September. Will update once I've had a change to check the bank.

A few small spends to declare today:

£12.15 - Friday treats of chocolate and wine for myself and DD
£13.43 - I managed to get a 70% off voucher for Guosto so giving it a try.  This is 5 meals for 2 people which is an absolute bargain!  They are coming next Monday and I shall likely use and dinner and lunch for me as DD has hot school meals so only has a light tea in the evenings.
£14.96 - Greengrocers this morning.  I needed some bits to batch cook a chilli so this was all the veg for that, some butternut squash which has been prepped and cooked, mushrooms, asparagus and extra chillies, onions and carrots

Delaying the Asda order as far as a I can as looking OK on most things at the moment.

Flying by to post a start to September of £87.45/£450 - we have had my brother staying this weekend, and today went to help move DD1 & her fiancé from the north of our county to the east of the next county west! Next weekend we have DS1, DDiL & DGD1 staying, and I'm moving DS3 back east to his university. So all a bit mad! But hopefully we can all settle down a bit after that. I haven't "done" the non-perishables yet but will do in the next few days.

... today, in fact! Adding a massive £138.99 despite thinking we didn't need much. I'm a wee bit horrified at the price of coffee now, but it's too late, we're hooked! So I shall need to keep the weekly fresh-goods shops fairly moderate for the rest of the month.
