Paying down the mortgage

I am trying to get back into the swing of noting any overpayments to the mortgage after we remortgaged this month. I have consistently overpayed the mortgage, a set amount of £105 a month for a while as standard.

This time, we remortgaged to 22years, after extending to 30years, to make the mortgage more affordable due to changes to our income. We were able to keep up the OP so reduced the term to match the payment of £700, which is what the OP was taking us too. We are hoping to keep the £105 up as well as sending other bits and bobs when we can.

    Mortgage today: £122.136.45
    Overpayment: £136.46 and £25
    Mortgage after OP's: £121,974.99

I got a small amount of back pay in my wage, so decided to send an OP to the mortgage £136.46, which knocks us into the 121's, then DH got £25 cashback, so we sent that as well.
