Hi, not sure if this is the right category but can’t see where else to put it.

My daughter and granddaughter moved away from her ex partner in March last year after being told by social workers to get my granddaughter out of the home because she may be in danger.

She was put in temporary accommodation and seems to have been lost in the system.
My granddaughter is a SEN child and has had no schooling since March dispute my daughter consistently asking for help.  She feels she has exhausted every avenue now and doesn’t know what else to do, she has contacted local councils about this and has been constantly ignored or told that they will get back to her and don’t!  She has asked the local mp several times to help but again has been ignored.

My granddaughter needs school as being autistic she is getting worse and needs help, she gets upset easily and kicks off and this is stressful for her and my daughter.

Please could anyone give any advice as it feels like she is lost in the system.

Sorry they are going through this. I have a child with SEND and have had an awful time trying to get the right education for them.

This website is a font of all knowledge in SEND the law and has guides and template letters to get education and services for your child

March this year, going on your previous thread.
Which area did she end up being housed in - original area or closer to you, just because you were talking about local councils in the plural.
    Does she have an EHCP?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

What schooling was your grand daughter getting before they left the family home?

Was it SEN school or did she attend  the local mainstream school?

You haven’t answered whether she has an EHCP, and whether she has moved area or not?

Can she not attend the local school where she is.

My grandson had ADHD and attended local primary and noe attends secondary school with SEN support.
