Probably didn't look into it enough, I clearly don't learn from my mistakes as I had one fail (eventually( back in 2008 and went Bankrupt - they only cancelled the IVA when the judge called them when I was sat with him so that he could sign the bankruptcy.Grumpelstiltskin said:Honestly if you don't have a mortgage why did you go for an IVA?
I hope you didn't fall for an advert on social media. For some reason (according to the sales person) it sounded much better this time around, obviously wasn't.They originally said I'd only be paying about £150 which sounded like a good deal at the time, this quickly went up to over £400 per month in 2 years.1 -
Sounds par for the course.
I know you already have an IVA Statement of Affairs but they aren't often generous when set up and are meagre by the finish line. Might be worth re-assessing yours and maybe even posting here.
Most initially posted fail to make provision for several things. You don't go on holiday but you do need to visit family several times a year. Where is that in the budget?
You've an essential, functional but elderly car with a decent repair allowance. Until it you need to replace it. Even saving £30 a month over the last three years could make a difference. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
