We do apologise for the previous communication that may have caused confusion, kindly treat this as a follow up email. The original creditor has sold this debt to us on 2022/06/30, and it is within their legal right to pass this debt to a recovery agency as per your contractual agreement. As per the terms and conditions of your agreement with the original creditor, the debt can be transferred or assigned to a third party (such as a debt collection agency).
This debt was assigned pursuant to the Law of Property Act 1925 and as you are not a party to the agreement Perch Capital Limited have with the original creditor. No contractual agreement is required between ACI and yourself. The notice of assignment was provided to you on date of 09/08/2022.
Please note that there is a valid direct debit arrangement in place for the amount of £7.50 and the next payment date is 28/08/2025. We are unable to accept your offer of £1000, we are able to accept the settlement amount of £20,874.06, if this is within your affordability. Please note that you have two accounts under ACI, account reference: 1012813 and 299960.
Please note that we have requested for the document to be processed and sent through in due course by the relevant department. The account will remain on hold.
If this email doesn’t fully address your query, please reply, and we’ll be happy to assist you further. Alternatively, you can reach us directly at
Yours sincerely,
ACI

Sorry I have no idea, but should you put numbers of accounts on here?0

If that is a reply to a formal s77-9 request under CCA 1974 then there is nothing in there to suggest that it has, or is able to, comply with the request.
The letter refers to a payment arrangement and a settlement offer.
I would suggest that you stop paying and making further offers until they supply a compliant copy of the original agreement1 -
