Pensions paid twice this week

Both my husband and I have our state pensions paid into our joint account weekly.

This morning, when logging into the account, I discovered that both pensions had been paid twice.  I realised that one set of pensions had been paid early, due to Bank Holiday Monday.  But unsure why they have paid these pensions in twice.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Monday is SP payment day for each of you?

You each received your payment on 18th August?

You should each  have received your 25th August payment today as here

Exactly that my weekly state pension goes in every Monday 
When a bank holiday falls on a Monday as many do it's paid into your bank the Friday before this

Are you saying that you have each received double payments?  If so, then it's a double-tap error, either by DWP or your bank, and DWP WILL recover the overissue somehow.

Haven't seen any other reports of double-tapped payments.

Payments are still showing, hopefully we won't receive our weekly pensions next Monday, and all will be sorted.
