Has anyone had one of these humungous jars of gherkins that are on sale this week? Is the quality Ok?

I googled and came across PickleWatch Episode 10 and the review wasn't complimentary. The review is 4 years old - which means that Lidl has had the time in which to up its game on this product - and what slapped me across the face is the price of a standard jar back then.
Aside from which, what would you do with so many gherkins, apart from graze on them?No man is worth crawling on this earth.
