Delays to handover from Capita to Tata of Teachers Pensions
Casebycase
Retired member in Aug 2022, TP have until end of September to raise the affected members' RSS statements. However, a front of house call handler told me this week that there are delays to the handover from Capita to Tata. Does this mean there will be more delays to statements and payments? Does anyone know anything about this? Is anyone aware of any official statement from the DfE, TP, Capita or Tata.......?

The administration of the Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS) will transition from Capita to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 2026.
Apparently it was originally envisaged that it would be in 2025.
Regarding RSS

Thanks. I missed the announcement that there would be a delay to transition. I remain concerned that they will not hit their latest commitment to end September latest for RSS statements. 0 -
Isn't the CSPS transferring from MyCSP to Capita later this year? Seems a bit of a pension merry go round!0

Yes, from the start of December, so only a few months away.westv said:Isn't the CSPS transferring from MyCSP to Capita later this year? Seems a bit of a pension merry go round!1 -
Make sure you keep good record of your data as the TCS system they are no doubt migrating it to is the single worst system I think I see in my IT career

Yes, truly awful, and don't start of the double whammy of them also probably looking to get rid of anyone that knows anything about the pension scheme itself as fast as they can to replace with lesser paid staffFIREDreamer said:

Nobody there seems to even know what the five letter acronym stands for either.Farside71 said:
