Hi, can anyone recommend any good side hustles or worthwhile survey/reward companies to sign up to?

For surveys YouGov is the easiest, Prolific pay the best, but they have a long waiting list.Luxton28 said:Hi, can anyone recommend any good side hustles or worthwhile survey/reward companies to sign up to?
Side hustle will be totally dependent on your skill set. What transferable skills do you have that could be utilised?2 -
Qmee has given me a good few payouts so far this year. YouGov is another one but it’s slower to build up your cash pot to make a withdrawal (you need to get enough points to take £50 back), as the surveys only release based on your profile.
Registering with companies to do market research will get you higher payments but again, these are less frequent. There’s a really good article on MSE with recommended companies that I’ll try and find and link to2 -
Prolific is by far the best of the survey companies I've tried. Slick website which makes things easy and plenty of surveys (depending on your demographic), in fact so many I personally pick and choose which I want to do (I don't do any that require downloads, ask for personal info or take too long!).Matched Betting was a thing, a very well paying thing, some years ago, don't know if it's still viable now. But, only do it if you've no interest in gambling as it would be easy to get sucked in. Made about £26k over a few years with it, but it's finite as you lose the bookie sites over time. Don't know whether it's still worth doing, but I still get offers from bookies.2

Thanks for the recommendation re Prolific. Based on this, I signed up the other day and first of all, I was notified I was on a waitlist. Not long after, I then received the following message:Vectis said:Prolific is by far the best of the survey companies I've tried. Based on the information you’ve provided, we’d like to invite you to provide a video recording sharing more about your skills, knowledge and experience. This should only take 3 minutes and will help us determine if we have suitable studies for you."
Did you have to provide a video recording as well? Is this a standard part of the process, e.g., to gauge how you might perform in recorded studies, or as a means of weeding out people?!

Matched Betting is still an option although as you say no where near as profitable nowadays. If you have trusting friends you can make it last longer.Vectis said:Prolific is by far the best of the survey companies I've tried.
