Same source in my feed mentioned a £130 cut in pensions next year.

Unless anything in these feeds is from a well known news supplier then it is 99.999% rubbish.

....with the exception of the BBC!!  :)

Yes this is just one manifestation of the AI revolution that we were all so dearly hoping for. Now, where's my laser-equipped shark?

There does however appear to be a shift with sites popping up in various feeds now spouting total lies (don't know how - but guess from data from me just using the internet).
I'm used to speculative nonsense, that in theory could happen, such as 'snow bomb will hit these 5 counties at the end of August' etc etc i.e. random click bait but there seems to be a shift to speculation/fiction being presented as fact.
Social media conglomerates need to be held to account more before every site turns into a cesspit not worth looking at...MSE forums, of course, excepted...rant over...
Maybe this annoyed me more than most because if true I would be drawing my pension in 18 months rather than 30...although I think the money can be better spent elsewhere so no real hard feelings.

This article has come up in my Google feed.

It's saying that the state pension age isn't going to be increased to 67 as planned after 2026.

Seems too good to be true.

Does anyone know anything about this please ?
I suspect just the "journalist" that wrote it.
    😯
I can't say categorically but I'm guessing the answer is a big fat NO

When the link is viewed on my tablet using the Chrome browser, there are also adverts for vegetables that kill belly fat overnight and pills seven times stronger than Viagra.

    Draw your own conclusions.
  • I had the same article appear in my Google news about the retirement age being reduced from 67 to 66. I shared it to my Facebook page. Now when I click on the article it no longer takes me to the same news! It must have been fake!
