Overpaying on CC debt ahead of remortage

So I have some CC debt and I'm working hard to overpay ahead of my remortgage. My current deal is up January 2027 so will be looking for deals around September 2026 but between now and then I'm hammering my credit card debt and overpaying significantly to get the balance down. My question is:

- Will the monthly payment I'm making (4 to 5 times higher than the required minimum payment) make me look bad for my remortgage as it looks like it's a standard outgoing amount. Now, the overall debt left will be less, and my overpayment is optional, just wondering if i should change my habits in the 3 months running up to applications?

If you stay with same lender & do a rate switch in the run up to old term ending there are no checks.

I’d be inclined to look for a 0% balance transfer card to move what you owe across if you’re currently paying interest per month? You then be able to make a bigger dent into this between now and then.
