Car boots (Warrington area)

Options
Hi,

With spring on the way (thpough you wouldn't believe it from the weather!) I'm thinking of ways to give my income a boost when things start to warm up a bit.

I have done plenty of boot sales in the past, but they were when I lived miles away from here, and I was only really selling my old odds and ends. What I'd like to do is buy in some stock - probably bankrupt stock, or other surplus, if I can find a bargain, and then sell on for a small profit.

Problem is, I don't know of any decent sales local to me.

I'd be willing to traval up to around 15 miles, maybe slightly more, from the Warrington area - but I would be looking for a reasonably big sale, with a fair number of stalls and punters, to make it worth my while.

Any recommendations?

Cheers,

Sadly this was closed down by the council. :(

    Thanks for the suggestion though!
  • There is a big one in Sutton Fields which is in Runcorn. They start the beginning of May I think and are always busy. They generally tend to have them every 2 weeks.

This is a link to their website. No dates released as yet.

I also think there is also a big one in St Helens on the multi storey in the town

  • A little further than you planned, but there is a regular boot sale at Chelford Market between Knutsford and Macclesfield.

  • yeh theres one near wilmslow that my parents go to - think thats chelford, normally quite busy and gets some good customers if you know what i mean, not people wanting to pay 10p for a brand new bike or something - its a really affluent area.

Sutton Fields is in Sutton, not Runcorn!

    Although it is in Halton
