Locked out of Instagram

If anyone can help. Because of my phone being repaired recently I was signed out of Instagram. I am trying to sign back in but it asks me to enter an Authenticator code. I have Authenticator for other things but I don't believe I had it set up for Instagram. I cannot add Instagram to Authenticator as i am not signed in. And so it continues as i go around in circles ... would anyone have a suggestion? Obviously its impossible to raise this issue with them.

i am trying to regain access via my laptop ... it was i-phone originally that was where i was logged out from.

Have you had a friend check your account activity? If you didn’t set up authenticator, could it be that it’s been hacked?0

I am sure I haven’t been hacked. But just beginning to think I will just have to create a new account … as just going around in circles …0

Are your phone still on repairs? Did you by any chance backed up the data to the cloud?0
