Mortgage question about overpayments

Hi everyone
I'm back to pick your brains again. My mortgage I can make over payments up to 20% of the balance, if I were able to save more than this would I be able to make a big over payment in between mortgage deals? My current fix is 2 years so could I in theory make a big payment after that fix before I sign up to the next fix. I've purchased a house that's very affordable with a view to paying off as soon as possible (7 years hopefully) so just trying to work out the logistics.
Thank you so much for reading.

Usually you just need to call your mortgage provider, it’s just a product change1
