Anyone here already taking payments from an AJ Bell pension, I’m due my first regular payment from this month (was expecting it today) but have just noticed it’s paid by BACS today and expected to hit my account in next few days.
just wondered if anyone has experience of this, what date does the money usually hit your account and when do payslips show online please. I’m sure it will all make sense in a few months but I’d appreciate any advise from people already taking regular payments.

BACs is three days with most banks and building societies or 4 where passbook accounts are used.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.1 -

My experience is that AJ Bell take the cash from my pension about 5 days before they actually pay it to me. They seem to need a little time to run the payroll and take the cash before they do so. (The time to do this reduced suddenly about a year ago, the money used to go about a week before they paid me) .
The Payslip and Benefits Confirmation letter (that confirms how much of the Life Time Allowance I have used up) arrives around the same time as the cash lands in my bank account. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1 -

Day 1 of the BACS process, for AJ Bell payroll, is 10th or the next working day, if the 10th falls on a weekend or bank holiday. So for this month money should be received on 13th.
If you set up a UFPLS payment with them is is not restricted to their normal payroll date of the 10th. Mine used to be executed on the 1st of each month or whenever you specify you want it. This is my first month of proper drawdown from crystalised funds.
My payslip was available to view on 11th this month.0
