PRIZE: 

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win a collection of travel prizes. This consists of:

• Two (2) economy class tickets. (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) = $1900.00)
• Ten (10) nights in a hotel (ARV = $2500.00)
• Two (2) JR Passes (ARV = $1150.00)
• Three (3) Arigato Travel tours (ARV = $350.00)
• $1000 USD (ARV = $1000.00)

The total ARV for the Grand Prize is $6,900 USD. There is no cash payout.

All country, federal, state and local taxes on Prizes are the Winner’s responsibility. If needed, winners will be issued a 1099 tax form for the actual value of the Prize. Gift Cards are subject to all the restrictions, conditions and dates of the respective issuing company.

Winner is not obligated to take a travel companion and can travel solo if they desire, using only one (1) flight and one (1) JR pass. All other Prize amounts remain the same.

Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. Airfare will be booked on points and subject to availability. Hotels will be three-star, when available, and will be booked by the sponsor. Winner and Sponsor will work together to come up with an itinerary. Visa costs and application are not included and are the responsibility of the Winner. Failure to secure any necessary visas forfeits the trip. Meals, incidentals, tips, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip are the responsibility of the Winner. All expenses not specifically identified as included in the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

All travel must be booked and completed within nine (9) months of being awarded to Winner or will be forfeited, and must be arranged with Sponsor a minimum of sixty (60) days in advance, subject to availability and Sponsor’s approval. Travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, blackout dates and certain other restrictions, all of which are subject to change.

Grand Prize Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary and on the dates and/or times specified by Sponsor or Prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Once the travel companion is selected, they may not be substituted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Grand Prize Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining any identification documents necessary for travel. Travel companion of Winner must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older, unless accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian, and must sign a Liability and Publicity Release. If the potential Winner’s travel companion fails to return such documents within date and/or time indicated within such documents, then the potential Winner may forfeit the right to the travel companion.

Winners will not receive the difference between the actual value and ARV. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or a component thereof) for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. If a Winner is unable to fulfill the Prize during the applicable time period, such Winner forfeits the Prize in its entirety and an alternate winner may be selected. Some restrictions may apply.

WINNER SELECTION:  The winners of each prize level will be selected in a random drawing on or aboutAugust 14th, 2025 from all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. The odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries have been received. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designee, using randomization methods selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winners will have forty-eight (48) hours to claim their prize. If Winner’s notification of the Prize is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner. Winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release.  Releases must be completed and returned to Sponsor within ten (10) days of receipt.  Noncompliance with these conditions may result in forfeiture of the Prize, and Sponsor reserves the right to select alternate winners (in random drawing from other eligible entries received before the deadline) in such circumstances.
