Find some way to block them
Ignore texts; only letters count0 -
Ophelos appears to be a debt collecting agency - they appear to be genuineHave you ever taken out a loan and defaulted on payment with any loan company ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -
Its a fishing trip by some bottom feeder debt collector, ignore texts/emails, you only need respond to a letter.
Never, ever be tempted to ring them, as the conversation will consist of "hello, how would you like to pay, card or payment plan?"
They won`t be interested in knowing its not your debt, or any other dispute you may have.
Any matters to do with debt should be conducted in writing only.
If they can ever be bothered to write to you, you can send them the prove-it letter, until then ignore.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
