What else can I do with hot dog rolls?

I have got a few packs of hot dog rolls in my freezer (a special offer bought a month or so agon) anyway, ds doesn't like them with hot dogs (too bready apparantly!!)
I was wondering if there is anything else I could do with them, possible cooking them in some way? toastie style or something
I have thought of slicing them lengthways and making garlic bread or something like that, could I do that from frozen do you think?
I am not very inventive really, I just looked in the freezer and although it looks full it is full of things that either need throwing or are not great for meals so want to use up what I can...

You could try toasting them to crispness and then topping them like little pizzas with some tomato salsa and cheese."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

Or you could make them into bread pudding, or bread and butter pudding, yummy!0
-
could you just use them as normal bread rolls? slice in half and fill - would be like a mini subway! i used to when i was a poor student when they were reduced in supermarket!

If you have a George Foreman, make a cheese sandwich (or whatever) and then put between the plates and cook....like a Panini.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

I can second the panini idea. We do it all the time and they are scrumptious.0

not a constructive suggestion but.. couldn't help but be reminded of the movie "Bulletproof Monk"... Kar is young, learning from a venerable monk (think bhuddist monk rather than ancient priest!)
(early on in the movie):
Monk With No Name: Why do hot dogs come in packages of ten, but hot dog buns only come in packages of just eight?
Kar: What the hell is that?
....
(towards end of the movie):
Kar: So, I figured it out, why hot dogs come in packages of ten and hot dog buns come in packages of eight. See, the thing is, life doesn't always work out according to plan so be happy with what you've got, because you can always get a hot dog.

Cut in half, toast, top with cheese and melt that. Float in onion soup - yummy!
