Got a problem!
I'm 70, wife is 60, in four years time our IO mortgage of £150k is due.
We want to move to a 15 year repayment mortgage but the only one we could find is the Leeds but they pulled out when it emerged that our postcode is in a flood risk area!
Does anyone know of any other lenders who can step in?

If you can start overpaying now, you might be able to ask for an extension with your current lender in 4 years time.
A lot can change in 4 years time. Lenders might come to market. But have you spoken to a broker to see if there is only the 1 lender? I'm in the middle of speaking to various brokers but I'd sort of given up when the Leeds seemed to offer what we wanted.0
