Home Grant Check - is it a scam?

I recently applied for more information following a letter through the post regarding the Home Grant Check Gov energy scheme. Today I received a call from a Bridgend number (‪01656 336896‬) claiming to be Home Grant Check and have booked in an initial check of my property for the grant. The scheme seems to good to be true and my gut has reservations of it's legitimacy. Has anyone gone ahead with the grant and had a successful outcome? Bit concerned about sharing my personal details with a company that has little information online.

Looks dodgy to me. As a general rule, unsolicited mail from random home improvements companies is best ignored.

All the necessary info about ECO4 is available on the official.gov.uk website here:

Eligibility details are on that site, plus a link to the energy suppliers that are obligated to support it. You can contact any of those suppliers directly, it doesn't have to be the one you get your energy from.
