Thinning hair

Looking for a product that works before I go down this rout, which seems expensive. Slightly thinning at temples (female) and slight general hair loss. Any advice please but only recommendations of things that work.

Go to your GP first, hair loss can be a sign of an underlying health condition. I’ve had similar for many years and to be honest nothing has been really effective for me, and I’ve tried a lot of advertised remedies. Minoxidil works for some women, but I takes many months to see any difference.
Maybe others have had a more positive experience.1 -
Minoxidil only works if you keep using it (the hair falls out again if you stop) but hair loss can indicate an underlying condition.
Are you vegetarian or vegan (What's your diet like generally)? any possibility of menopause/hormonal type issues?
Medical advice is banned on here so I'm not going any further.1 -
Yes thanks I think I need to see the doc. It's not a big issue atm but just worried about it getting worse. I think it's probably age related or stress both of which I can't do much about at the moment. I'll make an appointment.0
