Is it possible to make the roof lantern partially opening?

Hi,
I have the a roof lantern on my kitchen extension that you can see here
It's quite big.
Is it possible to make one of the sides opening, or to add a small opening window to one of the large sides? If so, what kind of trader should I ask?
