Charity comp - advice please

Hello All,

I work for a small but brilliant charity. Recently, we have been lucky enough to have a few donations of gig tickets and hotel rooms.

We will be using these in online prize draws with a format similar to Omaze: everyone can enter each draw once for free with no obligation. But if you did want more entries, you can purchase them and the money goes to the charity.

My questions are:

1) Is there any reason these draws couldn’t be posted on the forum?

2) How could I get them onto the forum in practice? (I think I’m right in saying you can’t post your own competitions).

Thanks in advance for any advice you could all give. And also for posting so many great comps. I’ve been using this forum for many years and had some great wins.

You are right in your thinking that they cannot be posted on this forum. Self promotion is not allowed even for charity

You could probably post it to the theprizefinder.com/  (I don't know T&C by heart).

You should check the regulations regarding "unlicenced" (free entry route competitions) as just being a charity does not avoid the gaming act. (if multiple entries are available via the pay route then they probably have to be via the free route as well)
