Hi I have a barclaycard debt with PRA group which has been going snce 18/02/2020 with them prior to this i had an agreement with Barclaycard for about 9 months where i paid an agreed monthly payment with interest frozen-£56 per month i have been paying every month since then and i have been lucky enough to have been offered £2000 to help me, which i have offered to PRA group several times in full and final settlement which they always refuse the amount owing now is £6460.30 and they have come back to me and said they will accept £5800 as full and final which i clearly dont have - is there any push back for me to keep offering them this amount or should i just not bother and keep paying this payment which means i ahve 117 months left to pay this off totally

Stop paying and try a settlement at a low figure 20% ? in a few months.
ADD Have you ever requested a CCA? If not do it now and if they can't provide a valid one you can just stop paying all together. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
PRA are the least likely to offer discounted settlements. Whereas we regularly see other debt collectors accepting 15-50%, it's rare for PRA to go below 70% and it's more likely to be 90-95%.
Also, do not offer PRA a settlement. They'd rather you take 10 years to pay it off than accept a low settlement.
This debt is showing as a default, isn't it? And can you afford the £56?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

I requested the CCA from PRA for my barclaycard nearly 2 years ago…still waiting and haven’t paid anything yet, might be worth a shot0
