So I haven't heard from Lowell since but PRA Group sent me an email today. This is despite me taking @sourcrates advice and telling them that until they can produce a CCA no further correspondence will be entered into.
I also asked them to remove my email and phone number and only contact me by post which they obviously haven't done. They're talking about passing my case to their litigation team if they don't hear from me by 5/12/25.
Are they just fishing? Should I reiterate my previous letter or not engage at all?0 -
If it's just threats of legal action then I'd just ignore them, they'll try anything to try and get payment or contact from people. The admitted that my debt was unenforcable but they still phoned me every two days and emailed once a week for over a year. They seem to have got bored now. Judging from other threads they seem to be quite desperate for money at the moment.If they send an LBA or you receive anything from the court then you will need to repond and defend the claim on the grounds that they haven't produced the CCA.1
