Missing/Part years National Insurance contributions

Options
So I have a part year of NI contributions for the tax year 1994/5.  I was made redundant on 31/3/1994 but received maternity pay from my employer in the April, May and June on which I paid NI contributions of £111.11.  My baby was born on July 20th and I have confirmed with HMRC that I do have Home responsibility applied (From 25th July) but my record still shows a part year, I am retired now and I have one more year of contributions to make before I can claim my full state pension.  Is it correct that 1994/5 is only a part year? even though I paid some NI and had Home Responsibility allowance.

How many weeks does it show ? Sounds like you might be missing weeks for the first part of July.

Per month or in total? Was this paid as a lump sum in April, or spread over the 3 months such that you (and the employer) paid NI in each month?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

The amount £111.11 is the amount shown as being paid in that tax year on my gateway account.  I no longer have the payslips that far back :(

That year may not be relevant or add to your pension if filled.  How many years 2015-16 and earlier are filled ?  Were you in a contacted out pension ? - your forecast will state if you were.

That might explain it, but in the (understandable) absence of payslips it's impossible to know for sure.

iT wil depend on whether your total earnings for the 15 weeks from 6 April to 25th July.

The missing 3 weeks of July may mean your income did not meet the minimum required to give a qualifying year when added to the weeks with Home responsibility credits.
