W H Smith - Christmas Cards 99p

Hi, just to say that in my local branch all the boxes of cards are now 99p, I got some that were originally £6.99 and £7.99 per box for 99p each. Hope this helps someone.

Note not all WH Smiths are yet doing this, so don't rush out.

If you are a card maker, it's worth snapping up these bargains - card toppers cost a small fortune, so if the design can be cut and used for HM cards, it's a good deal! The rest of the card can be recycled ;)

What size packs are we talking about? 10's, 20's, 30's????

Lots in WHSmith in Reading yesterday for 99p. Most were 'luxury' card 12 packs from companies like Woodmansterne (RRP £4-7/pack).

In my branch there were all sorts of sizes and packs - I think they were mostly 10s or 15s, but they were really good quality - some of them would have been suitable for cutting round the design and re-using. I think there are a couple more Christmas card threads on here so you may get some more info - or you could ring your local and find out what they have got before making a special journey.
  • In the Peterborough branch today, they are all still just half price, no further reuctions there yet.

Oh that's far too expensive - I normally wait until they come down to at least 50p :D
