Hi, was going to go with Octopus for solar panels until they found out I have a loft conversion and they can't do it now because they install from the inside and I only have small eaves access.
Does anyone have any experience/ recommendations for a company who will install solar panels from the outside in Lincolnshire, please.
I already have an EV charger for our two cars

hi, thanks, it was a rough quote because we didn't even get as far as anyone coming out or fully exploring our needs. We had one phone call and then everything stopped as soon as we mentioned the loft conversion.
Octopus online quote: 8 panels, 5kwh battery, all in, £9,807

I see it's also a hip roof, which doesn't help. Any shading at the front of the house on the parking area? Could/would you consider a double wide carport, with perhaps room for 6kWp of panels instead?Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Yes the right half with the roof windows, we have oil CH, electricity is around 8000kwh pa.
The side of the house where the shed is, only has sun in the morning, shaded by the house. A carport is not an option.
