Time from payment to account being credited

Just in case this is helpful to anyone......but I appreciate I am a straight forward case
I am due to get my state pension in January. I was 2 years short on my NI contributions and the only years missing for me were 2022/23 and 2023/24. I was able to go through the whole payment process online and I was given the choice of paying for one or both years. I paid for both missing years on Friday and was surprised to get an email receipt to say my account would be credited with 3 to 6 working days. Low and behold I have checked my account today and it has been credited so all done and dusted within 3 working days.
It does appear that not needing to rely on having to talk to a human is significantly more efficient!
