I think you'd probably be better off sorting out whether you should have declared it sooner (honest mistakes happen, it's fine as long as you own up to them when you realise) and going from there.
Do you know when the money is likely to come to you, and when is the end of your assessment period just out of interest?0 -

The OP has numerous other posts about this inheritance, 2nd home council tax, how to cash the cheque from the proceeds, how to transfer money to the states, what to do about banking when he leaves the country, complaining about solicitors fees, ending tenancy. It seems that he already has the money, at least in the form of a cheque, regardless if cheque has been cashed or not.1 -
Don't forget the OP wondering about their tax position if withdrawing £100,000 from their crypto account. I'm guessing they never declared that either.

^ Ah, so rather more problems than just the subject of this thread. And then we wonder why we're subjected to reviews that DWP get wrong when the vast majority of us are honest 🙄1

Oh, I missed that one!0 -
Yes you may want to declare the cryptocurrency held... they even ask about such in reviews. I'm not surprised you're exhausted... there's a lot going on.."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1
