Thank you, greatly appreciated. I'm 63 & have lived with the symptoms/impairments of RLS/PLM & ADHD since the age of 13. Both are neurological, or for those who prefer, physical conditions. I wasn't diagnosed correctly until I was 61 years old. I have medications for both conditions & whilst they have been transformative they are not "silver bullets". Two weeks ago my ADHD medication was increased. I've noticed an improvement. For the first time in decades I am beginning to feel a small amount of real hope. Hope that I can return to work & live out what remains of my life feeling some serenity.
You may ask why I’ve mentioned this. Firstly for anyone who’s reading this who has mental health issues it may be of some help to them to know it is possible to overcome adversity. Never give in, never, never, never.
Secondly I wanted you to know that you have been very kind. And sometimes, such kindness goes a lot further than I suspect you’ll know.
Thank you also, to all of you, for your replies. Yes I got my dates mixed up. Time blindness is actually a common symptom of ADHD 😊. Yes that’s true. But I didn’t get the NI correct so am grateful for the correction
I suspect I’ll be back
May the road rise to meet your feet 😊
Kind regards
AiY
