    OK, so it seems that they will accept payment by credit card.  But are you sure your credit card won't treat it as cash?

    I contacted them and they said it is treated as a purchase.not cash but I will do a test overpayment when my first direct debit is taken at the end of August.

    I will also phone Honda Finance and ask if I can pay it off all at once and what it will cost me and work out what will be more cost effective, £4000 a month extra and Amazon vouchers or the interest I will pay compared to the money sitting in an ISA.
