                    Hi all,
Im looking to buy Shokz OpenFit 2 Open-Ear Headphones . These are usually about £160, but here they are only £114.99 https://a1smartshop.com/products/2025-new-shokz-openfit-2-open-ear-true-wireless-bluetooth-headphone-with-microphone-earbud?VariantsId=77649¤cy=GBP&gad_campaignid=22768681100
Is this a legit website do you think?
Thanks

never heard of them but they do appear to be legitimate, although with some issues. Biggest flag for me is that they are in China so may be exempt from the normal distance selling regulations we enjoy in the UK.

Personally I'd avoid them. Based in Hong Kong, supposed warehouse in UK. No UK phone number. Using a Gmail email address.
 Too many red flags.1

Thanks guys. If I did buy these, and something went wrong, could I do a chargeback with my payment provider? (or perhaps not if they are "exempt from the normal distance selling regulations"?)0

Seems they only allow payment via PayPal, so that breaks your payment chain. You would have to go through PayPal dispute process.0

Hmm, ok. Many thanks. I think Ill give this website a wide berth!0

Chargebacks have nothing to do with distance selling or consumers rights. They are card regulations which are over & above CR's.dllive said:Thanks guys. What you could do, would depend on what the problem is.
In reality the only one is if they did not turn up.Life in the slow lane0
