Sky TV early termination

Just in case it’s helpful to anyone, I contacted Sky again regarding my TV subscription which I’m in contract for (Sky Ultimate TV package, whole home with two pucks, Sky Cinema) until August 2026 at £63 a month. I was lucky to get a really helpful guy who helped me by explaining he could get it down to £40 but that he’d have to recontract for 24 months and he said he felt that wasn’t the right thing to do in the circumstances so he’s waived all early termination charges and he’s put through the cancellation today which will happen in 31 days. 

I didn’t think this was possible after having originally spoken to them in January/February explaining I was struggling and they advised their hands were tied, so this was really good news that I thought may benefit someone in the same situation. I did also explain about my mental health issues (ADHD & anxiety) so I’m sure this also helped. 🙏
