best win email

Options
Hi, I obtained the following email saying I won a prize:

I’m delighted to inform you that you have won £200 in our crossword puzzle competition as seen in issue 18, 2025 of best magazine. Congratulations!

Prizes are claimable through our new Beneficiary Self-Management system with HSBC, a simple process through which you trigger the payment of the prize money into your bank account or PayPal account following the steps set out in this HSBC video.

For security, this process involves a two-step authentication process as part of which you will receive a password to your mobile phone number. Therefore, we kindly ask that you respond to this email with your up-to-date mobile number for this purpose, by Tuesday 15 July. After this, please look out for an email from HSBC within 10-14 days (advisory.clientbenefservice@bsm.business.hsbc.com) for the next steps in claiming your prize money.

Once the email from HSBC is received, please follow the instructions to register etc

I replied on the morning of Wednesday 16th July, does it mean I missed the cut off (literally a few hours)

Secondly is this email legit?

Thanks

Up to them if they select another winner (unlikely)
Several posts on here about that being the legit service they use

Looks the same as one that I got in March, although mine was a runners up prize of £50. Was the email from Louise.Bulgin@Hearst.co.uk ? It took a few days for them to reply, even though I had replied to them immediately.

    Has she acknowledged your email?

I received a similar email for winning Best 17, on Thus 10th July which I replied to the same day, I then got another email from Louise Bulgin thanking me for my details and to look out for correspondence from HSBC in next 14 days.  Money was paid in on Monday this week.
Thanks to all those that post.
